Legacy Sessions
Because every day is a gift worth preserving.
“You are my love, my joy, my sunshine, my happiness, my all in all."
I told these words to my beloved Lance every day. He was, and always will be, my heartbeat and soul dog. His photos continue to bring me comfort, and my hope is that your Legacy Session will bring you that same comfort.
What are Legacy Sessions?
Legacy Sessions are for senior pets, pets with a serious illness, or families seeking end of life pet photography.
Whether your dog has a grayer muzzle, slower steps, or a difficult diagnosis, every day together is a gift. A Legacy Session helps you capture that gift in a way that lasts.
These sessions are a celebration of the life you've spent together with your special furry friend. If you're wondering if it's time to schedule a session, the answer is always yes.

Your session will be fully personalized to your pet’s comfort and needs. Legacy Sessions receive priority scheduling and can take place in my Ashburn studio, on location, or in the comfort of your home.

Why Choose Me for a Legacy Session?
I bring both professional photography experience and specialized grief training to this meaningful work:
Graduate of the University of Vermont’s Companion Animal End-of-Life Doula Program
Grief and Bereavement Specialist Certificate, University of Vermont
Pet loss grief training through Pet Loss Partners and One Last Network
Member of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement
Leader of a monthly pet loss grief support group in Northern Virginia

I understand the emotions of this time. After Lance passed, I wanted to see his photos constantly, while my husband needed more time. However you wish to approach your images, I’ll support you. That may be immediately or when the moment feels right.
I’ll listen to your story. If you’d like to include personal traditions, beliefs, or special touches, I’ll make sure your session reflects what matters most to you.

Senior dog Ralphie's Legacy session.
“We got to work with Lynn to capture photos of our senior, special needs pup. Lynn was very patient with Nina and was able to capture great pics of her. We also love our artwork display, and Nina is thrilled to be elevated to super model status. Mike and I are so grateful to have these photos of our golden girl.”

“Lynn is an awesome and creative photographer! She made our session enjoyable and light hearted. I was impressed at her skill to engage with our senior dog in order to capture his special looks and adorable personality. The final products were exceptional! If I could, I would give 10 stars! I highly recommend booking a session if you want the very best pictures of your pet!”
