Sometimes the weather gods work in your favor. And for Nina’s May session at Green Spring Gardens , the weather gods were in our favor.
Our session was originally scheduled to take place on a Saturday, but due to a scheduling conflict, we switched her session to the following morning.
It ended up being a perfect day. It wasn’t hot, the mix of clouds and sun were good, and if had waited, we would have been rained out.
Nina is approximately 14 years old and was adopted four years ago. She’s a beautiful senior girl who is blind and is losing her hearing. Nina’s a fluffy white Bichon who loves to be doted on by her people and she got a couple new minions to do her bidding during her session. I, along with my assistant Kim, fell under Nina’s charms and would have given her anything she asked for.
We initially let Nina walk around, to let her sniff and check out her new environment. Since Nina is more comfortable being around her people, we switched gears and decided to take most of her photos with her people.
Nina, with her people.
Nina loves getting cuddles and sitting in someone’s lap!
Happy girl!
More cuddles for Nina.
Nina was a tired girl at the end of her session.
It was a pleasure and honor to photograph sweet Nina and her family.
